Sewing Craze

I've taken up a new hobby. I started the sewing craze a couple of years ago, and even did a craft fair this past November. I really enjoy sewing--what is when I have the time! My favorite projects are fashionable baby boutique bibs,(see Photo) and I quilted blankets for the girls for Christmas!

Maggie

Maggie is about to have her 6th birthday! She reminds us every day that she is sooooo excited! Maggie attends full day kindergarten and wears a school uniform. She loves school and one of her good buddies is Carter who is a good foot shorter than her. Some things about Maggie that you may not know is that she plays the violin. She also has a loose tooth which she wiggles everyday. Her friend Emma accidently lost her 2 front teeth last week. Maggie thinks it's so unfair that a 4 year old lost her teeth before she did. Maggie loves the snow and since we had an unseasonably warm December and January, she's a little disappointed that she hasn't built a snowman yet. Everyday she come's home from school and ask's Mom if she watched the weather and when is it going to snow!

Audrey

Audrey is 3 1/2. She decided to play beauty parlor in November and chopped her hair off. She gets so many compliments on her cute haircut, but she often gets mistaken for a boy. So I think it's time we grow the hair out a bit. The other day Audrey was watching Tom and Jerry. I was at the computer and she was sitting so quietly enjoying her cartoons. She started cracking up at the cartoons, she thought it was very funny that Jerry kept hurting himself. She said he was a bad kitty. I thought it was so cute that she was truely enjoying a classic cartoon. Some unknown facts about Audrey is that she loves to wear dresses--she really hates pants! She loves juice in a sippy cup--which Owen gets mad at me for giving it to her (bad for your teeth), and she loves her purple blankie. It is crocheted blanket and she's had it since she was a wee one. When she sleeps she puts her fingers and toes through the holes. --see photo

Drew loves Mom

Drew loves his Mommy! He follows her wherever she goes and cries the minute she walks in the room.

Drew

Drewey has been Drew's nickname since he was a little guy.--given by the girls. He is 14 months now and is still cruising around on his knees. He started to sport the mullet, so we finally gave him his first haircut! He's a handsome little dude! His favorite things are playing in the dishwasher, and Mom of course--he wears her like wallpaper! A little unknown about Drew is he has 5 food allergies! Wheat, Soy, Eggs, Milk and nuts. It's a struggle, but we're hoping he'll outgrow it soon! For now he snacks on corn and ricecakes. Yum Yum!

Owen and Holly

Owen and Holly have been married for 9 1/2 years.--seems longer to tell you the truth. We met in York, Pennsylvania in 1996 while we were both serving our missions. Owen was my zone leader--no, no love affairs, just good friends.--(I feel like I always have to explain myself.) When we came home, everything was like clockwork. Shortly after we were married Holly started nursing school while Owen worked. After Holly finished, she worked and put Owen through undergrad at BYU. 9 years later, we're still doing the school thing. We are currently living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where Owen is in his last few months of Dental School at Temple University. Yeah! It's finally here! Oh wait, not quite, Owen is trying to get into a pediatric Residency program for 2 more years! Call us crazy, but Owen is awesome with kids and would make a great pediatric dentist!
